I love how that NY Times article credited physical therapists and "medical staff" in enabling that stroke victim to regain her ability to speak. So there's no confusion, it was an empowering, intelligent, sensitive, dedicated SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST that restored her speech. I assume SLP's were lumped into the "medical staff" group. SLP's are underrated and are hardly recognized for their contributions to restorative therapy. I intend to change that Thaker!!!! And by the way, I brought my lunch today in a reusable lunch sack instead of a plastic bag. How about you?
