Hello. Jake here. 30 years old. I'm from Chicago originally. I love running, art, trance music, dancing, and all things that grow in the ground.

I received a cinematography degree from Columbia College Chicago in 2005. I love film and filmmaking, and see a possible future in it, but for now I'm an Air Force Linguist living in Augusta, GA.

I also love hot weather and the ocean, and I plan on moving to Southern California in a couple years.

I used to have a big problem with shopping. I'm a Taurus and a natural "spendaholic," but over the last year or so I've come to realize that all those material things don't bring happiness, so I've changed my lifestyle to reflect that. Right now I'm all about saving money and learning to enjoy the simple things in life.

Jacob's Sustainable Notes

Today:
Went grocery shopping and bought locally grown organic fruits and vegetables, and I brought my own cloth bags so they wouldn't have to use plastic ones.
Everyday:
I walk to work every other day, and when I don't walk, I carpool with friends. I always use my own plastic water bottle and coffee mug rather than disposable ones. Although it's super-duper hot out, I don't use AC. (Hot weather makes me happy :)
Tomorrow:
I'd like to have my own garden one day where I can grow all my own fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Also, I'm planning on making my next vehicle purchase an eco-friendly one.
