Lynne's Sustainable Notes

Today:: Yesterday I met with a client. We are starting an addition that is larger than the existing house. We will be using CMU blocks for the foundation, bricks for the wall, radiant heat for the floors and solar panels on the roof, bamboo cabinetry.

Everyday:: I don't think I would be as focussed on these materials and solutions without my sons work on Make Me Sustainable. Ben insisted I buy a hybrid and I save alot of money on fuel.

Tomorrow:: I'm going to begin my Leeds certification. In strting to design a new condo for Brooklyn, I want to make sure that I use sustainable materials and maximize the greenery of the site through roof gardens, terraces and vegetated walls.
